Hello! I'm Emily. I'm an illustrator, designer and mom based in Cary, North Carolina. My art is usually some combination of gouache, acrylic paint, digital illustration, and collage. I love experimenting and playing with new materials. I have two young daughters who provide me with endless silly inspiration.
I have a degree in Civil Engineering, which I never use. I have a degree in Graphic Design, which I sometimes use. A few serendipitous jobs led me to discover Surface Design, which I didn't even previously realize was a thing. I fell in love with it, and I'm so grateful to be able to make and share my art with the world. High school me would lose her mind if she knew I get paid to make art now. She'd be really obnoxious about it.
